Art Identity began in New York City as a small collective of artists and an arts advocate who believed strongly in one idea: art thrives when artists have support, visibility, and a welcoming space to grow. What started as conversations around shared tables and studio visits has now become a nonprofit organization with a renewed home base in Brooklyn, NY.

Our mission is simple and grounded in community values. Art Identity exists to support artists at every stage of their creative path and to offer accessible art education programs that bring people together. From young learners discovering their talents to adults exploring new skills, we want art to be available to everyone.
As we relaunch, we’re building programs that reflect the energy and diversity of our neighborhood. Art learning lessons, open workshops, artist-led talks, and hands-on community projects will be at the core of what we do. We’re also working to create opportunities for emerging and established artists to exhibit their work in both Brooklyn and beyond.
Art Identity is entering a new chapter—one rooted in collaboration, learning, and the belief that creativity strengthens communities. We’re excited to share upcoming projects, events, and ways to get involved.
Thank you for being part of the beginning. This is where our new story starts.
